Note: All levels are a work in progress but are fully playable.

V0.076 - mainly Level10 updates

  • HellBoy arrives in Level10

  • Added the ability for certain AI to call their dogs for backup in Level 8

  • Added snipers that will drop their weapon on death (you cannot pickup these, but the ones at heli you can.)

  • Certain enemies can summon help for 30 seconds (Magmadar Dogs)

  • Removed Scenes with Heavy CPU usage (forest scenes) --> Will be replaced  with low poly versions
  • The direction of this game will be that all scenes are low poly to allow more compatibility with older PC's

  • New Level7: Medieval Villages
  • Enemy can also attack with knife and they will also spawn in random locations now
  • There are two base camps with resources
  • Gus (your faithful companion) gets a new weapon and new hat and he pays more attention to enemies!
  • NOTE: This level requires a pc with at least 8GB RAM and GPU
  • There are also some Forest Guardians. Ignore them, they are for testing only.

V0.047

  • Beginnings of two new levels. Level5 - Desert Oasis. Level6 -Island Mountain.

  • Level4 soldiers updated to V1.5 animations including switching to melee attack (hit with rifle in close combat)
  • Level4 peasants have a mace and an axe and will attack/defend against soldiers.
  • Three types of soldier looks at Level4

V0.037

  • Each level has its own music now
  • Renamed the main Executable for the Game to FORF FPS (Friend or Foe First Person Shooter)
  • Added some weapon and ammo pickups to level2 and level3

V0.036 updates

  • Player now starts with only a Pistol.  Other weapons will be discovered in the game including Ammunition. Some of them are obviously more effective than others. Player will have to experiment and discover the right weapon for each situation.
  • New enemies with  at Village 2.  They carry different weapons and can attack from a bit further away.
  • Replaced the Ak47 with a different assault rifle that player can find.

V0.035 updates

  • reduced the max angle for characters conforming to terrain

  • ammo pickups are one-time use and will not auto respawn here.
  • a few more enemies will patrol and use trigger zone instead of just line of sight.

V0.029 updates

  • Added a new Peasant in yellow shirt.
  • Added shotgun and 9mm ammo drop and auto pickups (player don't have to interact, just walk over the ammo boxes)
  • Changed animations for some AI slightly to crouch and shoot and idle in place when not in combat.
  • Adjust ranges for enemies to detect player from further away. They are line-of-sight ranges.
  • Some enemies will use line of sight to detect player while others will use trigger zone radius
  • One or Two of the enemies will navigate to a specific location and stay there while two others will patrol around a waypoint path.
  • More types of Ammo pickups in different locations including 'useless' ones and auto-respawn for some.

V0.028 updates

  • More enemies at start and in slightly different positions
  • All Three levels are now playable but more details will be added.
  • Note: No health or weapon pickups in Level 2 or 3 yet, but not too difficult at this time.

V0.027 updates

  • Expand health pickups and weapon drop locations
  • A few more buildings, trees, vegetation and rocks towards Village 2

V0.025 updates - Level1 only. Level2 and 3 no changes.

  • Player starts at Clock Tower with Old Man and Cart
  • Various weapon pickups available at clocktowers
  • Player can even punch enemies when holding no weapon.
  • Note: The AK47 cannot be dropped.
  • Fixed a few bugs when enemies dies.

V0.024 updates

  • Player start at top of mountain
  • Player can pick up weapons by pressing and holding  'E' key while looking at weapon to pickup but can only pickup one of each type.
  • Vultures circle the area
  • Old man at cart might have a surprise you can use in battle...

  • improved enemy soldier death animations to fall down better with ragdolls
  • more soldiers in level1 at 7 villages and some uniform changes
  • Gus (companion) dies a little easier
